Ecotours - Indian villages

Inside Passage: British Columbia... Indian villages

"Solitude" is the word to describe your trip up or down the West Coast of British Columbia. We'll visit bays small enough for one vessel and delight in watching the deer and bears as they forage in the bay's headlands. Each day will bring a new adventure amidst the towering mountains. We'll visit Princess Royale Island, home of the mystical "White Bear" and spend time at the site of ancient Indian Villages. Kayaking and fishing can be fitted into these leisurely days.

Victoria/Gulf Islands Charters

Home to 3 resident Orca pods, this area is visited by thousands of people each year. Our advantage is that we see the sites from the water. The M.V. Dagan will tour the more popular sites such as Cabbage Island and Montague Provincial Park, Pirates Cove and Wallace Island. We'll spend a day at Sidney Spit Park, a National Park. This ecologically sensitive area is the winter home of thousands of Arctic birds. Salt Spring Island and Ganges Harbour is a must for those wanting to go back in time to the "60's".

Desolation Sound/Princess Louisa Inlet

Chatterbox Falls ~ Princess Louisa Inlet

50 miles inland through a steep fjord we find Princess Louisa Inlet and Chatterbox Falls. This remote destination is a must do for those travelling in southern BC. Further north we find peace and serenity in Desolation Sound. There are places to hike and kayak as well as fish. Crab and prawn traps will be set wherever possible and the catch of the day will become the meal for the evening. Travel through these mountainous areas and visit unique coastal communities, established many years ago by fishermen & native Indians.

Port Hardy/Broughton Archipelago of B.C. ...a kayaker's dream

At the north end of Vancouver Island, Port Hardy and Port McNeill make a good starting point for an adventure through the hundreds of small islands in the Broughton Archipelago. We'll see orca and grey whales, Dahl's porpoises as well as bald eagles and other species of birds. Those of you interested in old native middens will be able to investigate the area. This area is a kayakers dream and hiking is available also. Scuba diving is available in the vicinity.

Alaska Charters ...see orcas & humpback whales

Explore the beauty of Alaska, the glaciers and bountiful wildlife. Our vessel has large windows and lots of viewing areas to see the sights in the heated Saloon and Bridge. Or sit outside in comfort on the back deck or upper station. We'll see salmon and orcas (killer whales), humpback whales, porpoise and seals. Visit the rainforests and watch the bears feed.
